EKAM HEALTH PRACTICE

The Ekam Health Practice enhances your body’s vitality, immunity, and tissue repair abilities. It includes breath holds to activate brain neurons and tap into the energies of Ojas, Tejas, and Prana.

Ojas (golden in color), Tejas (white in color), and Prana (blue in color) are higher energies within our subtle body. Through this practice, you tap into these energies, which accelerate the healing process in your physical body.

The Ekam Health Practice is best performed in the morning.

Practice Ekam Health daily to experience greater vitality and improved health.

POSTURE:
Sit on the floor on a cushion or yoga mat in Sukhasan or Vajrasan.
If you have difficulty sitting down, you may use a chair but make sure you sit upright with both feet firmly planted on the ground.

Guidelines before you begin the practice:
– As part of the Ekam Health Practice, you will complete 42 cycles of Parikrama Pranayama, which involves cyclic breathing.

Parikrama Pranayama is a technique where you inhale and exhale through your nose called Ujjayi exhalation or ocean breath.

After completing 42 cycles, exhale completely and hold your breath while listening to 21 chants of “Hamsa.”

Then, inhale, hold your breath, and listen to 11 chants of “Hamsa.”

(Hamsa is the natural sound of inhalation and exhalation.)

– Towards the end of the practice, lie down in Shavasan (Corpse Pose). Prepare a yoga mat beforehand so it’s ready when you reach this part of the practice.
